BUP stands for BackUp Power Energy, it is a smart home battery equipped with dry cell batteries that plug directly into a home electrical grid system/or installed solar panels, generate and store up energy as backup clean energy, that is deployed around the home in the event of a power failure. BUP functions as a personal power grid with or without installed solar panels.
